復試的重要內容之一便是對專業課知識的考察。無論是跨專業還是本專業的考生，在面對專業課問題的提問時(具體形式可能是口述或者筆寫)要有意識體現自己思路的獨創性，因為導師作為學術帶頭人，其學術習慣很自然地會促使他們愿意多方聽取新穎思路和獨創見解，并樂意招納具備創新開拓精神的學生。考生在提出自己個人見解時，態度要謙虛謹慎，不妨可先簡要陳述對該問題的一般性見解，然后在對此肯定的基礎上再詳細提出自己的新想法、新思路。如果是對此沒有獨到的思路，可以中規中矩的回答，不要不懂裝懂，這樣只會給導師增加不良印象。
